Hi Bruce,

thanks for checking out our tool and for your valuable feedback. Many of the points were already on our agenda and have already been fixed over the weekend or will be fixed within the next days. Check out the brandnew screencast that shows the editor's basic features (including how to add bend points to edges and make diagrams prettier). We'll be putting up a whole lot more of in-depth documentation over the next weeks.

By the way, we are currently integrating a completely new functionality for automatic layouting of BPMN diagrams into the editor. This will take the "prettiness" of diagrams to a whole new level. And let's not forget that this all happens in a web application...

One thing I would also like to point you to is the discussion functionality built into the Signavio Process Editor. Based on our experience from commercial process initiatives, we wanted to get those people involved into process design that are neither trained in BPMN nor willing to work themselves through complex tools. By providing easy access to models and a simple commenting functionality, many of these busy domain experts are now able to actively contribute for the first time thanks to Signavio's speech bubbles. Check out our blog post about this.

What is your experience with involving non-BPMN-experts in the process modeling game? What kind of tooling do you favor?

Regards, Gero

Hi Bruce,

You want to see revision management and more collaboration features based on
the Oryx-Web-Technology? Check out our new online community for BPMN modelers at www.bpmn-community.org.

We just launched, so the content (german/english) is still evolving.

regards,
Alex
