Are you familiar with what Appian was able to export/import in version 5? I was surprised to read that xml import/export was added in v6, this would seem to be a critical feature in much earlier releases? You referenced Lombardi Teamworks, which has, for example, been doing one-click xml export since version 3 (2003).  I&#039;m just trying to separate what is really new in v6 from what is marketing, or what is differentiated from what is &quot;catch up&quot; to industry norms.

I agree &quot;faster deploy&quot; is pretty weak positioning these days- especially when you have other vendors pushing the 90-day deployment style approach, and iterative development, it just feels like squeezing a few more drops out of a stone, instead of changing the game- making possible things that were previously too hard or too complex.  And that may be the case with v6 but I&#039;m still looking for them to stake that claim.</description>
