I like the approach of training the business guys how to use the &#039;methodology behind the modeling&#039;. It sounds pragmatic from the point of view that the whole enterprise doesn&#039;t have to be re-engineered as SOA prior to starting the BPM work. Let&#039;s hope the business guys have the aptitude and time to grasp a reusable BPM approach.

Now all I need is someone to help me next week when I get trapped in a small room with a &#039;consultant&#039;!

 In my defense I&#039;ll say now that the, part real / part imaginary consultant I had in mind was an independent with minimal credentials. Not one of those professional CapGemini guys I&#039;ve had the pleasure of working with in the past!
